There are fifteen universities delivering higher
education in Cuba namely : the University of
Havana, the Agricultural University of Havana, the
University of Camaguey ,the University of Ciego de
Avila, the University of Cienfuegos Carlos Rafael
Rodriguez, the University of Granma, the University
of Holgin Oscar Lucero Moya, the University of
Matanzas Camilo Cienfuegos, the University of Pinar
del Rio Hnos Saiz Montes de Oca, the University of
Marta Abreu of Las Villas, the University of
Santiago de Cuba, the Universitas de Ciencias
Informaticas(UCI), the Higher Polytechnic Institiute
Jose Antonio Echevarria, and the Instituto Superior
Minero metalurgico Dr Antonio NuNez Jimenez. All of
them are public institution since the birth of
socialist Cuba. |
