The El
Capitolio is a building located in Havana, Cuba. The exact
location of the El Capitolio is in an area called Centro Habana.
The Centro Habana is located near the old city. The construction
of the building of the El Capitolio started in 1929. The
Capitolio was normally built for the seat of government which
was before the Cuban Revolution in 1959. The Capitolio in Havana
is almost an exact copy of the Washington D.C. Capitol in USA
and has also been given the same name as you can observe. The
U.S. Capitol is located on the Capitol Hill, it has been
designed by William Thornton. The El Capitolio is also known as
the National Capitol Building. Nowadays the building of the Il
Capitolio is a big library and also the houses of the Academy of
Sciences. Havana is also the capital city of Cuba and is also
the largest city of the island. Cuba is an island with a total
area of over one hundred thousand square kilometres and can be
almost compared to Pennsylvania; Cuba is just a bit smaller.
Havana is an area very spectacular to visit with its
