the Cathedral Square. The cathedral square is located in Havana,
Cuba in front of the Catedral de San Cristobal. The Catedral
Square is one of the main places of the city of Havana. During
the eighteenth century the rich families of Cuba started to
build mansions in the area of the Cathedral Square, some of them
can still be seen nowadays. The Cathedral Square is a
fascinating area for tourists visiting Cuba but also for the
Cuban. The architecture of the eighteenth century can be seen in
this area. Lot of the buildings have been restored. It is one
of the most visited areas in Havana, Cuba. The oldest buildings
in the surroundings of the Cathedral Square are the Palacio de
Los Marqueses de Acros built in 1700 and the Museo de Arte
Colonial which is from 1720. So when are you are in Havana,
Cuba, you must absolutely visit the Cathedral Square. Visitors
will also discover the post office, cafés and restaurants. The
Museo de Arte Colonial can be visited everyday from 9.30 am to
7pm with an entrance fee of two US Dollars. |
