The Trinidad
cigar is a brand of cigar produced in Cuba. There is also in the
Dominican Republic a cigar of the name of Trinidad produced for
Atlantis. The cigar has been name after the famous city of
Trinidad located in Cuba. The Trinidad cigar in Cuba is produced
for Habanos SA. The only factory that produces Trinidad is El
Laguito factory in Havana. It is said by Adriano Martinez, an
executive who has been working by Habanos SA in the past that
Trinidad has been produced for the first time in 1969. The
Trinidad Fundadores has been exclusively produced since 1980 for
Fidel Castro. At this time the only Trinidad cigars that went
out of the country were gifts that were given to the diplomats
of other countries. It was only in 1998 that the first Trinidad
Fundadores were exported. The first two countries to receive the
Trinidad cigars were Mexico and Canada and after the cigar was
distributed in the whole world. |
