Cardenas is
located in the province of Matanzas in Cuba. Cardenas forms part
of the main cities of Mantanzas as Jovellanos and Matanzas which
is also the capital city of the province. Varadero a popular
resort town is also located in the province of Matanzas. The
province of Matanzas is the second largest in the island of
Cuba. This province is mainly flat having as highest point Pan
de Matanzas which is 380m above the level of the sea. Cuba has
fourteen provinces and one municipality. The capital city is
Havana and very famous to tourist. Cuba is well known for its
cigars and coffee, while traveling around you will often see men
or women smoking a cigar as if they were smoking a cigarette. It
is for Cuban as a tradition to smoke a cigar. |
