One of the
main attractions of Varadero is its famous caves. The caves of
Varadero are spectacular places to visit. The Bellamar Caves
which is a lot visited has been discovered in 1861 is located
near Matanzas city. This cave is popular for its stalagmites
formations, carsick crystals. There are in the Bellamar Caves
beautiful mural paintings, large number of fossils and lot of
evidences very long time ago. Other caves as The Santa Catalina
and The Saturno are also very famous in the area. But there are
not only caves to visit in Varadero but beautiful beaches in the
Zapata Peninsula very popular for scuba diving but also
swimming, sunbathing and a lot of water sports. |
