above you can observe a long cactus in the forest of Varadero.
The town of Varadero is located in the province of Matanzas, one
of the fourteen provinces of Cuba. The town is well known as a
resort town. Here you can see a cactus in its environment;
usually these types of plants are used as ornamental plants. The
cactus is originally from Americas but now you can find cactus
almost everywhere. Varadero is well known for its nature reserve
and lot of tourist like having a stay in this beautiful place.
The resort town is situated on the Hicacos Peninsula. It is said
that Varadero was founded in 1887 but has made of the history
since 1555 already. The foundation of the town was made when ten
families took settlement in the area. |
